My name is Jamie, my friends know me as Pez.

Pez Project is a platform for me to document the projects I am passionate about. Since I was a kid I have always enjoyed building things and taking stuff apart. Through my professional career as a marine engineer I have picked up skills that have allowed me to take on projects of my own.

From old rusty beater to a badass adventure wagon

One of those projects being the conversion of my old Land Rover. I bought the truck back in 2020 originally as a bit of a weekend toy. This slowly became a full time hobby and passion. I have now found myself almost replacing every system on the vehicle and taking it round Europe.

My friends and family were always telling me I should document my work somewhere. I finally decided to start a YouTube channel and named it the Pez Project.

Making my ideas reality

With a passion for engineering I was always fascinated by design and computer aided manufacturing. This is why I put myself through an extensive course to become proficient with Autodesk Fusion 360.

During my first course the tutor talked a lot about the power of 3D printers. At the time I didn't know much about them, but I quickly realised they weren't that far out of reach. The following week I had one ordered.

Fast forward to now, I have a number of designs that have been successfully printed and tested, and a premium diesel heater port that has sold in three different countries.
